Horses need the dentist too!

Just like humans, horses need to see the dentist every 6-12 months!

Dental care is a vital part of horse welfare, and prevention is better than cure. Which is why our horses 'see the dentist' at least once a year. Horses are quite stoic creatures, and often won't make any dental pain known until the problem has become severe which is why these check ups are so important.

A routine dental check-up costs £45 per horse and as it's routine, this isn't covered by insurance.

What is to be done? Well, as usual, we're going to run for it! Natalie is running the Richmond half marathon on September 10th to raise some much needed funds so that our horses stay happy and healthy!
