Story

Hospice of the Good Shepherd support patients in Chester, Cheshire West, Ellesmere Port and Deeside who are facing a life-limiting illness.

The Hospice's dedicated team of staff and healthcare professionals aim to meet the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those with a life-limiting illness, and help to maintain their dignity. We provide specialist palliative care for people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses, at all stages of their illness.

Were not just focused on our patients. We recognise that its also a difficult time for relatives, carers and friends and we provide support for them too.

Hospice of the Good Shepherd receive only 24% government funding meaning the remaining amount of the £11,000 a day running costs needs to be raised by fundraising events such as Chester Sparkle Walk. Join in now to help make a difference.
