Story

This Summer, 2 teams of Hospice Trekkers will be taking on the iconic National 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for our patients and loved ones living with a life-limiting illness.

The National 3 Peaks is an awesome weekend of adventure as our wonderful supporters take on the three highest peaks in UK; Scotland; Ben Nevis (1,344m), England; Scafell Pike (978m) and Wales; Snowdon (1,085m), around 23 miles of walking and 3,064m of ascent. That’s the equivalent height of 32 London’s Big Ben or 696 double decker buses stacked on top of each other…

The pandemic has been a challenge for all of us, but our patients have had to deal with Covid-19 on top of their illness. Their life-limiting illness hasn’t stopped for Covid-19 and nor will the tremendous support provided by our wonderful clinical teams in helping our dear patients and their loved ones get through their own personal challenges, pain and symptoms.

You can do your bit to help by making a donation today, however big or small, every penny helps to make a huge difference.

We are looking to raise £4,447 which is the cost to provide the Hospice services FREE of charge for 1 day. That’s one more day of patients being supported to manage their pain and symptoms to access advice and support on welfare benefits and entitlements and bereavement support for loved ones, helping them to come to terms with their tragic loss.

Thank you and good luck to our fabulous teams of Trekkers you’ve got this and we are with you every step of the way.
