Thank you for visiting Hospice Ukraine’s 2024 Campaign page.

Our mission is simple. We are dedicated to supporting hospice teams across Ukraine to provide comfort, dignity and palliative care for all in need at the end of life. So far, we have partnered with two local teams in Lviv (Sambir Hospice) and Kyiv (Dobrubut Foundation), providing medicines, equipment and face-to-face training in Ukraine from two of our trustees, Drs Rachel Clarke & Henry Marsh.

In 2024, our goal is more ambitious.

Working closely with local teams, we will build a professional, interactive, multimedia teaching website through which we can provide high quality training and education in palliative care to teams across Ukraine. Our fund-raising target of £10,000 will also help support more in-person education visits from UK doctors to Ukraine and, ultimately, educational visits from Ukrainian doctors to UK hospices and NHS teams.

The upheaval of war has made it enormously challenging for local teams to provide adequate medical care. Please help us help some of the Ukraine’s most vulnerable patients - because everyone deserves comfort and dignity at the end of life, no matter where they live.
