Hospice Isle of Man was founded in 1983, & since that time we have card for thousands of patients, and those that matter to them. We deliver all of our services completely free of charge. We need to fundraise over £5.5 million this year, in order to meet our anticipated £7.1 million running costs

Story

Generously sponsored by Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, this 50km route follows much of the official Peel-to-Ramsey section of the iconic Parish Walk. Although the event will be timed, this is a fun, non-competitive walk perfect as a training opportunity for those preparing for the big event, or simply a rewarding endurance challenge for anyone who wants to enjoy the stunning scenery at their own pace.

After signing on at Peel Fire Station, the walk will begin from Peel promenade and head up the coast to Kirk Michael Fire Station (11km), where participants will find the first checkpoint and Water Station. The route then continues north along the Parish Walk course to the second checkpoint and Water Station at Jurby Church (22km). Further checkpoints and Water Stations will be located at Bride Church (33km), Andreas village (38km), and Lezayre Church (47km). The finish line awaits at Ramsey Fire Station, where the Hospice Coffee Van will be serving refreshments to all walkers.

Whether you're a seasoned Parish Walk participant or taking on your first long-distance challenge, everyone is welcome. Enjoy a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, breathtaking coastal and countryside views, and the satisfaction of completing one of the Island’s most loved stretches of the route.

While there is no obligation to fundraise, all money raised will directly support Hospice Isle of Man and the Fire Fighters Charity, helping both organisations continue their vital work within our community. Any fundraising efforts big or small in recognition of your 50km challenge are greatly appreciated.

Take part, challenge yourself, and have fun while making a meaningful difference for two incredible causes. We look forward to seeing you on the start line in April!
