Keep donating -your support so far has helped us grow despite losing our youth funding! You are making a difference.
Hoxton Hall has been supporting local young people and families through culture since we began in 1863. .
• Over the last years we've engaged 250 young people per week over 50% attending more than 3 sessions per week.
• 82% of our young people have come from the Global Majority and aged 7 to18 (up to 25 with SEND).
• We have been delivering in Hoxton in the 10% most deprived neighbourhood in England. We have delivered FREE dance, drama, music and visual arts 50 out 52 weeks of the year for young people who would not otherwise have access to participate in arts and culture.
• Our work is youth led through the mixed young leaders and the young women’s leadership groups who meet weekly.
A local youth worker says: “What Hoxton Hall can provide is priceless. Young people need a safe, inclusive, fun and accessible space where they are able to be themselves and also seek support at the same time. Hoxton Hall is all of these things.”
But let us tell you about one of our young people and why you should continue to support our campaign. Here are his words:
I first came to Hoxton Hall as a quiet kid, unsure of myself, struggling with identity and feeling like I had to hide parts of who I was. Years later, in college and a dark place emotionally I returned to Hoxton Hall and everything changed.
Hoxton Hall gave me a safe space to grow emotionally and artistically: Mentorship in music & performance, skills in public speaking, song writing and leadership plus a community that feels like family
Since then, I’ve founded "For Those Who Need Hugs",- a mental health and music events company, led creative workshops at Hoxton Hall, been a speaker/facilitator with NHS universities & hospitals and was I was "Trainer of the Year 2024"
You can see his project "For Those Who Need Hugs" in action in the film below:

Every little bit helps but if you are not sure how much to give to make a difference here are some ideas to help you:
• £40 reflects what it has been costing for one child to access our provision for a year.
• £360 could provide a freelancer for a 3-day holiday project for young people
• £825 could provide a full 3-day holiday project for local young people in one art form
• £2460 could fund a full year of the Good for Girls leadership group enabling up to 25 young women a week to gain confidence on their own leadership and run their own events.
• £7000 could fund a full year of music provision for young people at Hoxton Hall. That is 3 days a week for up to 40 young people to gain mentoring, music production training, performance opportunities and free access to recording studios and acoustic instrument training.
