Story
We have been church in the community for over 100 years. Over the last few years we have renovated the sanctuary but removing most of the pews and turning it into a multi-function space. Over the last while, we have had various events and conferences in the sanctuary.
Our halls are used by many groups, some from the church and many from the community. The large hall has become a bit tired and the heating has already been replaced. The floor is to be replaced over the summer months and along with removing the staging, we have made the hall bigger and are looking to see how it can be used for the benefit of the community and the church.
Dave, our minister, and Debbie, our Assistant Session Clerk, have entered the Glasgow Kiltwalk Big Stroll to help raise some money for the renovations. We'll be in our worship service as they walk but we hope that they'll manage to video into the service after 11am.
