Story
In 2026, HSBC colleagues alongside their family and friends are taking on a fantastic series of endurance challenges to raise vital funds for Endeavour, helping us support some of the most vulnerable young people across South Yorkshire. We’d love your help to power their efforts. Every pound raised helps Endeavour provide safe spaces, trusted relationships, and practical support that can change a young person’s day-to-day life — and their future.
The 2026 challenge calendar
Edale Skyline Walk (21 miles) – 7 June - A spectacular Peak District route and the first Walk of the year.
Steel Cotton Trail (approx. 62 miles / 100km) – 3–4 July - Walk as short or as far as you wish - 5 to 62 miles , attempting the full walk is a serious endurance challenge — with some walkers using Edale as their warm-up. The full planned route is viewable on Endeavour's Website.
Coast and Castles Cycle Ride (Edinburgh → Newcastle, 200 miles over 2 days) – 11th -13th September - A rolling coastal ride with rural lanes, a few hilly inland stretches, and unforgettable views past Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Warkworth Castle.
Travel plan: depart Fri 11 Sept, return Mon 14 Sept (with an optional “keen riders” extension to cycle home from Newcastle).
