Twilight Runway Challenge 2026

Pupils from Hook Schools are taking part in the Twilight Runway Challenge, a fun, family-friendly event where you can run, walk, cycle or scoot the runway at Blackbushe Airport over 3K, 5K or 10K routes. Please help by sponsoring our stars!

Hook Schools Community Association is a registered charity, which exists to raise money for both the Hook Schools in order to enhance the children's environment and learning. We also try to foster social contact between parents and Hook residents and reinforce the key roles of the schools in our village. As a parent of a child at either Hook Infant or Hook Junior School, you are automatically a member of the HSPA.

Story

We all want to encourage our kids to be active. What better way than a sponsored run / walk / ride / scoot in a truly fantastic setting - on an airport runway!

On Saturday 12 September, children from Hook Infant and Junior Schools will take part in the Twilight Runway Challenge - and they need you to sponsor them!

So far we have signed up:

Ben G - 4GG (5K Cycle)

Lydia P - 4EE (5K Cycle)

Penelope G - 4GG (5K Cycle)

Isaac - Turtle (10K Cycle)

Marcus - Bumblebee (3K Cycle)

Every penny raised will go towards HSCA projects. This year fundraising from this event will be put towards the replacement of our ageing shed, so we can securely store all the materials we use to provide events to enrich the children's education.
