Harold was barely a month old when he came to Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC) from an under-resourced shelter. His back leg was broken. He was all alone and severely injured. He was rescued just in time…

We made a tiny cast for Harold’s leg, then matched him with a wonderful foster home where he could rest and heal. He got to play and snuggle and explore—just as any puppy should. When he was ready to be adopted, the perfect family welcomed him into their home.

Today, Harold is happy, healthy, and thriving—and becoming fast friends with his new siblings.
