Response vehicles replacement

Both our current response vehicles are due to be renewed for something much more up-to-date. Providing our team of volunteers, the ability to respond to emergencies for years to come. Can you help our charity out by donating to support this cause?

Hereford & Worcester Community First Responders: A dedicated group of volunteers that respond on behalf of the ambulance service to 999 emergencies in and around Hereford & Worcester.

Story

Our oldest response vehicle that has been in operation within our scheme for over 15 years, is now coming to the end of its useful life. We are looking to replace it with a newer model, before maintenance and repairs become too expensive.

Whilst we are looking to purchase a vehicle from another scheme, when they replace their current vehicle. There will be cost to our scheme to purchase the vehicle, update the livery to the national CFR specification and ensure that it has had a full service and is ready to respond.

Our second response vehicle is also getting towards the end of its life with us. This is also in the plan too be replaced with something newer, to ensure that we have resilience in the future for our team.

————

Our target of £10000 should enable us to achieve what we are aiming for and upgrade both our response vehicles

We rely on donations for everything we do, and without your support we simply cannot respond to our community. Everything from the vehicles, to the AEDs, to our uniform is funded through donations.

We value the support of the community in and around Ross-on-Wye, and are asking for your support once again to help replace these much loved vehicle and keep the wheels moving.
