This year we've already racked up a massive bill of around £2,500 (this is going up daily!). We've had so many urgent dogs come into our care with serious health problems. Abandoned by their owners in horrific states :(

We have Angel the staffy, who came to us from the stray kennels - she had various lumps and bumps, including one ENORMOUS 7cm mammary tumour! She also had terrible cauliflower ears, and a couple of rotten teeth. She's had surgery for all of these - lumps and teeth removed, ears cleaned out, bloods and xrays of her chest. Happy to say she's recovering well in her foster home! Angel's bill came to over £1,040.28 (So far!!).

She's worth every penny!

We also have little Evie the JRT - found on Boxing day after she had sadly been hit by a car. She also has horrific skin allergies, which caused her skin to bleed and be incredibly itchy! She is still struggling with her injuries, and if that wasn't enough, she also has a luxating patella, which she'll need an operation for. Her bill will most likely exceed £1,000.

Next up, Bella, who arrived with us after being in the pound for 4 WHOLE YEARS! She had been so upset in kennels that she'd broken several teeth, which we've had to have removed. Her bill already is £436.24, and she'll need another operation soon to remove more teeth :(

That's just a few examples of where the money goes. We really believe that they are ALL worth every single penny! We will never turn down vet treatment for our dogs. And we can't stop helping these dogs who need us the most!
