Ian's Abseil for NAB

Ian will descend from the top on the 418ft Northampton Lift Tower. Facing his fears, he will be raising crucial funds for NAB - Sight Support for Northamptonshire. Our VISION: Better lives for people with sight loss.

NAB Abseil · 21 June 2025 ·

As Northamptonshire’s sight loss charity for 125 years, NAB provides advice, support and products to help visually impaired and blind people live life to the full. We do this through our empathy, experience and expertise. We are very grateful for all your support to continue our vital work.

Story

In Northampton, the iconic Lift Tower stands tall above all other buildings in the town. Ian will begin his descent 418ft above the ground, which is the same as standing on top of 32 double decker buses! While there will certainly be amazing views, for most this is a challenge to conquer fears and prove that they can achieve something incredible.

Ian will be taking on this incredible challenge to fundraise for NAB. The funds raised will help us support visually impaired people in Northamptonshire to live life to the full!
