Story

Local cyclist, Ian Cormack is set to take on the Etape Loch Ness Cycling event on 28 April 2019 The event is one of the hardest one day cycling events in the UK cycling calendar and consists of a 66 mile circumnavigation of Loch Ness starting and finishing in Inverness. It also includes a King of the Mountains stage with a 5 mile climb gaining nearly 400metres in altitude. He is aiming to complete the ride in less than 4 hours averaging about 16 miles an hour plus food and drink stops.
