Prachi, Avinash, Rosy, Mandy, Eric and Mayuri will be donning their walking shoes in June to take on the Orwell Challenge and raise vital funds for ICM. Walking a combined total of over 50 miles around the Orwell estuary, Team ICM are hoping to raise £500 from sponsorship for their efforts.

A well established local fundraising event, the Orwell Challenge invites individuals and teams to walk or run through the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Participants can choose a distance between 3 and 25 miles - with our brilliant Finance Assistant Rosy going for the full 25!

ICM Trustee Eric says:

"I'm looking forward to being able to participate in the Orwell walk and support ICM. It's an amazing opportunity to combine the beautiful Suffolk countryside with a fantastic community based local charity."

With £500 we could take our young people out on a creative trip to broaden their horizons, cover the costs of one of our ESOL classroom volunteers, or even buy new musical instruments for our young people to further their creative ambitions.
