Story
The IPA Group Benevolent Fund provides support for current and former members of the IFA and IPA, as well as their families, who are experiencing financial, medical, or professional difficulties. Our goal is to provide a fund that strengthens our global accounting community and ensures that no member faces challenges alone. We aim to address the specific needs and circumstances of individuals, always remembering that people are at the heart of our mission.
By working together, we can make a more significant impact.
I became homeless with my two young children last November after closing my business. The support from the IFA Benevolent Fund was a light during this dark time. Knowing I had your support gave me the courage to keep going. I am grateful to share that my life has improved. I have secured a home for my children and me, and we are building a new chapter together. Thank you for your kindness and support. You have made a huge difference in our lives, and I will always be thankful.
I recently moved to a new country and started a new job when I was hit by a car, causing serious injuries to my right side. Without insurance benefits or a salary from my employer, I found myself in a desperate situation. I couldn’t walk, needed ongoing medical care, and struggled to cover my daily expenses. While looking for help, I found an article in the IFA magazine about support for people in similar situations and decided to apply. I am so grateful to say that my life has changed completely. I’ve found a home for my children and me, and we are starting a new chapter together.”
I am a single parent with a daughter who needs long-term medical care. Recently, her condition has required many hospital visits, forcing me to reduce my working hours. Because of this, my expenses now exceed my income, and I’m struggling to make ends meet. I contacted the Benevolent Fund and completed the required information. After a few follow-up questions, I learned I would receive support. This was a huge relief. The cost of living is high, and being in a new country, I don’t have much backup. I want to thank the fund for their help and hope they get more recognition for their support.”
