This will be our third year to organise Run for a Life as a virtual event.
Registration remains at €10 per person (or €25 for a family of two adults and up to two children) and you can choose to Run, Jog or Walk 2.5km, 5km or 10km.
The event is about coming together (virtually) in solidarity around the need to raise awareness of the importance of organ donation for transplantation.
Waiting for a transplant is an uncertain time and events like this are about letting those on the transplant pool, and their families, know that they are not alone. Every person who gets an Organ Donor Card and share their wishes with their family lets those who are waiting know that others are thinking of them and this can make the wait a little easier.
Every organ donor can save up to seven lives and to recognise this, we are introducing the 7x7 Challenge this year.
The 7x7 Challenge
We are inviting participants to get at least 7 people to each sponsor them for €7 and we will send them a free IKA t-shirt
