The Berden Fete has always been a vibrant source of fun and funds for our Church, Village Hall, and other local gems. Sadly, this year we have to skip the festivities, but we don’t have to stop supporting the amazing things that make Berden Berden!

Funds are still urgently needed and some of the Fete’s supporters have suggested that we should find an alternative way to help this year…..

We are pleased to introduce the "I Love Berden 2024” fund, your chance to be a hero for our village!

It’s an alternative way to support our community whilst the Fete takes a year off.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards maintaining the fabric of St Nicholas Church and keeping Berden Village Hall, Berden Playground, and all the things we cherish thriving.

Donating is easy

1. Give what your heart (and wallet) feels comfortable with.

3. Don't forget to tick "Gift Aid" if you're a UK taxpayer - it means your donation goes even further!

If you would prefer to donate cash, please put it in an envelope marked “I Love Berden 2024” with your name and address if you are happy for gift aid to be claimed and drop it into 1 Church View Cottages, The Street, Berden, CM23 1AU.

The “I Love Berden 2024” fund will close on 31st July 2024.

The just giving page is run by Berden PCC and just like after the Fete, the funds raised will be shared amongst our village organisations.

We hope to bring back the Fete in all its glory next year, but until then, let's show our Berden spirit and keep our community strong!
