Story
Inka is 7 years old. She has complex diagnoses including cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy and cerebral visual impairment but is one of the most determinedly happy people you could meet. She has faced many challenges in her life due to a devastating brain injury suffered at birth, but she doesn’t complain or question why life can be so difficult for her. Inka tackles everything with such spirit and determination, and almost always infectious laughter.
Unfortunately, the support provided by our local services is not enough to enable Inka to reach her full potential to live as independent and pain free life as possible. She requires extensive on-going therapy to improve and maintain her mobility and reduce the risk of her developing further painful complications caused by cerebral palsy, as well as specialist physio and therapeutic equipment and mobility aides such as walking frames and walking sticks and a wheelchair which may cost upwards of £10,000.
Your support is very much needed.
