Inka has a number of complex diagnosis such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, dystonia and cerebral visual impairment, but at just 7 years old she is very keen to be as independent as possible and this means that we must adapt her living environment to her disabilities.

Just4Children are therefore raising funds to enable Inka to live as safely and independently as possible through housing adaptations such as, ramps, handrails, stairlifts, ground floor room conversions, accessible bathroom installation or conversion including specialist accessible toilet. Later, this may also extend to kitchen adaptations such as lowered worktops and adapted kitchen appliances for wheelchair access and specialist furniture such as beds and chairs if required as she grows.

Inka is 7 years old and one of the most determinedly happy people you could meet. She has faced many challenges in her life due to a devastating brain injury suffered at birth, but she doesn’t complain or question why life can be so difficult for her, she tackles everything with such spirit and determination, and almost always infectious laughter.
