Fine & Country supporting The Benjamin Foundation, because having somewhere to call home matters.

There are some causes that really make you stop and think about the difference we can make within our own community.

That’s why I’m organising our Fine & Country team to take part in the Norwich Inflatable 5K in support of our chosen charity, The Benjamin Foundation.

The Benjamin Foundation does incredible work across Norfolk and Suffolk, supporting children, young people and families who are facing some incredibly difficult circumstances. From providing a safe place to live for young people experiencing homelessness, to offering emotional wellbeing support and helping families through challenging times, their work makes a very real difference locally.

As an estate agency, so much of what we do revolves around homes. We see every day just how important it is to have somewhere you feel safe, secure and supported. Sadly, that isn't something every young person can take for granted, which makes the work of The Benjamin Foundation particularly meaningful to us.

So, I thought we should do something that brings our Fine & Country teams in Beccles, Norwich, Diss & Fakenham together, raising some money and awareness, and hopefully has a lot of fun along the way.

The Norwich Inflatable 5K seemed perfect. Although I suspect that by the time we are climbing, bouncing, crawling and probably falling our way around 5km of giant inflatable obstacles, some of the team may question my definition of "perfect".

Most importantly, every pound we raise will help The Benjamin Foundation continue the vital work they do for young people and families across our region.

I’m really looking forward to getting everyone together for this one and seeing just how much we can raise.
