Jonathan Stretton Downes was well known to the Somerville Heart Foundation, having both spoken at and attended Somerville annual events where he interacted with those with CHD, their families and Somerville staff. Lasting friendships were formed at these events and Jonathan will be very much missed amongst the CHD community.

Jonathan's family have generously requested donations from the Funeral & Thanksgiving service to charity, including Somerville Heart Foundation. We are so grateful for every donation which helps us continue to provide services to those born with a heart condition. Our mental health and wellbeing counselling, events, webinars, newsletter and much more all provide a community for those with CHD and enable much needed peer to peer support and advocacy.
