I was feeling isolated and wasn't sure who to talk to about my situation. But [Women's Aid] listened and provided routes to support. They made me realise that his controlling, aggressive behaviour is not normal or acceptable.

This International Women’s Day, our mission is to shed light on the harsh realities of domestic abuse, raising awareness of the barriers survivors face in accessing support, and bringing feminist allies together to raise urgent funds for our Women’s Aid services.
