Communicate with Confidence: iPad Therapy Appeal

This Aphasia Awareness Month, we’re raising £5,000 to fund fully equipped iPads that empower people with Aphasia to communicate with confidence.
This Aphasia Awareness Month, we’re raising £5,000 to fund fully equipped iPads that empower people with Aphasia to communicate with confidence.
That's why Aphasia Support brings that therapy directly to those who need it most.
When someone loses their ability to communicate, they often lose their independence too. It can be incredibly lonely and isolating in a world where few people truly understand. For those facing their toughest days, we are able to deliver our vital support in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safe and understood.
We loan specialist iPads pre-loaded with bespoke speech and language therapy apps, using innovative technology and communication aids to encourage practice and progression towards confident and meaningful engagement.
Our qualified therapists and fully-trained volunteers deliver compassionate, personalised support, free of charge. But this life-changing work comes at a considerable cost.
✅ A new library of iPads - essential for delivering accessible speech and language therapy
✅ Specialist speech apps, including: CueSpeak Pro, Speech Sounds on Cue, Tactus Therapy Virtual Centre, Beautiful Voice
✅ Protective cases - to ensure our equipment lasts and reaches as many people as possible
We would be incredibly grateful for a gift of any size to help us raise the £5,000 needed to fund fully equipped iPads that empower people with Aphasia to communicate with confidence.
Your support makes an incredible difference...
“We cannot rate Aphasia Support highly enough. They haven’t just helped Jack develop his speech, but they have boosted his confidence and given him the opportunity to socialise once again. Thanks to their iPad loan, and all the useful apps, he is in a much happier and healthier place, and we are looking forward to seeing what he goes on to achieve next.” [Vicky, partner of Jack]
"Alan's fear and anxiety has gone. Through the therapy App, Cuespeak, he learnt how to identify and repeat words. This was something he couldn't do directly after his stroke. He will never be able to communicate as before, but he has progressed so much. We both feel very supported by Aphasia Support." [Denise, wife of Alan]
“Sue was given her own iPad and introduced to several communication apps. Suddenly she was able to choose when and how long she worked on her language and understanding. She was in charge. It worked so well.” [Bob, husband of Sue]
