Story
Over the last 12 months it has become clear that the majority of the school's iPads used by children in the classrooms are no longer fit for purpose so The Friends of Acton School have decided, with your help, to do something about it.
Each classroom needs new iPads because that is how certain apps the classes used are set up. At present there are X Ipads in the school but these are all over X years old. Not only are these machines slow and unreliable but they have to be shared by all of children. That's one between X! In Covid times, due to quarantine procedures, this is almost impossible. Should another school shutdown occur, the school does not have enough equipment to send home to those that need it. This has to change. Fast.
We've set an initial fundraising target of £3,000. This will allow the school to buy 10 iPads. Whilst this is a good start we hope to be able to do more because ideally they need 30.
Please support our fundraising efforts as generously as you can. Together we can make a real difference to the education of the children in our community.
Every £300 raised gets the school one iPad. Let's see how many we can all achieve one-by-one.
