Inverleith Petanque Club are looking forward to representing Scotland at the European Cup for Clubs in France in November 2026. The club went through 2 tough weekends of qualifying to earn the right to be there.

In May we travelled to Ayr to participate in the Scottish Cup for Clubs against 12 other Scottish Clubs. We won 10 out of 12 rounds of round-robin to take the Scottish Club title.

In August we won the Eurocup Qualifier in Carnoustie which involved the the top 4 clubs from the Scottish Cup. This was played in the Eurocup format of 6 singles games, 3 doubles games and 2 triples games. After a nail biting final round of Triples against Fochaber PC we won the 2 triples matches to clinch the qualifying place for France.

Now the challenge is raising the funds to cover the cost of the trip in November. It will cost around £9k to get the team there. Any contributions towards the cost of the trip would be very much appreciated.
