Charities Together is about bringing together Irish charities so we can support them as one. We have started the #20in2020challenge where people can either donate 20 to a charity of their choice or they can take on a 20 themed challenge to fundraise for a charity to help them through 2020. Were also encouraging people to fundraise however they wat to by selecting the start fundraising button above and creating your own fundraising page as part of this campaign.

As a result of the covid-19 pandemic, millions of euro in funding has been lost by Irish charities as thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled. Many of these charities have had to reduce or stop their services at a time when their services are needed the most. The Irish Hospice Foudnation is one of them.

The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) is the only national charity dedicated to all matters relating to dying, death and bereavement in Ireland.

Our Aim: To help Ireland die well and grieve well.

Our Mission: To strive for the best care at end of life, for all.

Our Vision for Ireland: No-one will face death or bereavement without the care and support they need.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we have continued to run our services on the front-line, including Nurses for Night Care, which provides professional end-of-life care in the home for those facing their final days. We also have a range of programmes working with Nursing and Residential Care Homes and Hospitals all over Ireland. Furthermore, we have launched a range of new resources specifically to help the public and heath care professionals during these exceptional times. Named "Care and Inform" they are based on our expertise and knowledge and have been specially developed to respond to growing need for help. Details are available here and are updated regularly.
