Story
Islington Boxing Club (IBC), founded in 1974, is one of England's largest and most successful amateur boxing clubs. It serves as a vital community hub, welcoming individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and providing opportunities for fitness and competitive boxing.
The club has strong ties to local authorities, engaging young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to help divert them from crime and antisocial behavior.
As a charity under the Islington Community Sports Academy (ICSA), IBC empowers young people through sports, fostering self-confidence and community connections. The club has produced numerous champions and continues to thrive in its mission to support local youth and develop boxing talent.
