Organised by Light Up LearningInspire some winter wonderment across Edinburgh, the Borders, and the Lothians with Light Up Learning! We’re on a mission to raise £2,400 by the end of 2024 to fund 120 one-to-one mentoring sessions for young people aged 12-18.

Visit the charity's profileAt Light Up Learning, we’re all about making learning exciting, personal, and fun! We pair young people aged 12-18 from challenging environments with mentors who help them explore what they care about, in their own way and at their own pace. Young people thrive when they are empowered to learn in their own way, with support that is both flexible and personal. Our dedicated mentors help them explore their interests in a low-stress, playful environment, fostering creativity, confidence, and curiosity.

Your donation will go directly toward funding mentoring sessions and resources that bring learning to life:
£5 provides resources provides resources to spark curiosity and inspire new interests.
£10 funds materials that give students hands-on learning experiences.
£20 funds a one-on-one mentoring session, offering tailored support to a young person.
£60 covers three sessions, providing consistent guidance over several weeks.
£100 funds five sessions, offering sustained support to help a young person work towards their goals.
