Story
It's good 2 give "Co-Founder" Lynne Mcnicoll says -
£50,000 then £500,000 now. Let’s do this together.
Twenty years ago, I set myself a challenge: to raise £50,000 in one year for the cause I care so deeply about. That challenge changed my life — and helped shape everything our charity has become.
Now, to mark two decades of volunteering, I’ve pledged to raise £500,000 in just 15 months.
We’re calling it The 26 Campaign — inspired by the number 26 in 2026. Whether it’s £26, 26 miles, 26 events, or 26 friends joining in, I’m inviting everyone to take on their own “26” challenge and help me reach this ambitious goal.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Every pound raised through Challenge 26 will fund practical, meaningful projects that ease the journey for children, parents, and siblings:
• Continuing the work of our four psychologists, providing vital mental health and wellness support.
• Offering families free short breaks at The Ripple Retreat – a peaceful haven away from hospitals and treatments.
• Funding specialist medical kits that make daily life easier for young cancer patients.
• Delivering many more hands-on projects that bring comfort and hope during the toughest of times.
Together, we can make sure families don’t have to face cancer alone.
