Story
This is Ivy. At just three years old, she has already faced more than her fair share of struggles. Ivy was rescued by our team and is now safe with us at RSPCA Little Valley, but she is living with a painful condition known as cherry eye.
Cherry eye occurs when the gland in a dog’s third eyelid slips out of place. It leaves the eye red, sore, and irritated, and without surgery it can cause lifelong problems, discomfort, and difficulties finding a home.

For Ivy, this surgery is her chance at a fresh start. It’s not a routine procedure we can easily cover in our day-to-day veterinary costs; it’s a specialist operation costing £1,500. This covers both the surgery itself and Ivy’s vital aftercare and recovery, giving her the very best chance of success.

We want Ivy to be able to look out at the world with bright, pain-free eyes — and with your help, she can.
Our community has shown incredible kindness before. Together, we’ve raised life-changing amounts in record time. This weekend, we’re hoping you can help us do the same for Ivy.
Every single donation, big or small, will take Ivy one step closer to the surgery and recovery she desperately needs.
Please, if you can, give today to help Ivy see a brighter, happier future.
