Story

In September 2017 we found out that Jacobi, our four-year old son, had Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Knowing nothing about this cruel disease we were devastated to learn that DMD results in boys being wheelchair bound between the ages of 8-12 and reduces life expectancy significantly.

Each day is challenging coming to terms with Jacobis condition however we are not prepared to sit around and wait for a cure, we want to make a difference to Jacobis life and to all other little boys affected by DMD.

Our mission is to raise money for Duchenne UK and contribute towards their goal to END Duchenne.

A BIT ABOUT JACOBI.

Jacobi is is now 8 years old and growing up fast.

He has adapted well to cope with DMD and there is not a lot of things that will stop him from achieving his goals!

He has developed a passion for Golf and won his first trophy age 7. He enjoys nothing better than riding the hallowed fairways of Inverallochy Golf Club on his golf buggy or going somewhere different to play a new course!

He accomplished one of his dreams this year by playing at the home of golf, to follow in many of his heroes footsteps by playing The Old Course at St Andrews.

He still enjoys going down the seashore and during the summer months, we use creels to catch lobsters and brown crabs.
