St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

Story

Fed up with your boss terrible taste in ties, awful tea-making or frightful singing? Is one of your colleagues always late for the Zoom meeting? Missing your teacher that much during lockdown that you'd like to see them locked up? Or would you like to punish your football coach for the gruelling training sessions?

Well nows your chance to lock up that person and make them fundraise for their freedom!

Your criminal will be taken into custody at 10am and their mug shot and fingerprints will be taken. Then, they will stand trial for their fictitious crime before being handcuffed to the Guildhall railings for the day.

They will be tasked with calling on friends, family and business contacts to help raise their bail money by 3pm.

It is hoped that each criminal will pledge to raise £500 or more.

All the money raised in bail will support St Richards Hospice continue to care for patients, loved ones and bereaved people across Worcestershire.
