Story
James is an inspiration to everyone he comes into contact with. Swimming independently is a massive boost to his self esteem. "Can I do it myself?" is his favourite saying.
When James started going to Amman Valley Leisure Centre he was only able to do a few lengths in the pool, using a noodle and one arm to swim. He cannot see or use his legs, but now he swims up to 46 lengths per session in the pool.
James also loves cycling his electric handcycle at BikeAbility Wales. This is why he is so dedicated to fundraising so the charity can support other disabled people to enjoy the pleasure and health benefits of cycling.
James would be enormously grateful to anyone who can make a donation - no matter how large or small - to encourage him to achieve his challenge of swimming a whole 26 mile marathon in 50 pool sessions or less.
