On Sunday 15th June, I’ll be taking on the iconic London to Brighton Bike Ride – 54 miles of hills, sweat, and determination – to raise money for the Sussex Cancer Fund, a cause close to my heart.
This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this, so it’s a big personal challenge. I’m doing it not just for the fitness, but because I know friends and loved ones who have been affected by cancer. I also know first-hand the amazing work that Sussex Cancer Fund does to support local cancer patients – from funding cutting-edge research and equipment to providing those little extras that make treatment that bit more bearable.
I work for Recorra, and they’ve been really supportive of my efforts – but now I need your support too. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. For example:
£5 could provide comforting refreshments for someone undergoing treatment.
£20 might fund a complementary therapy session to ease treatment side effects.
£50 could help towards life-enhancing projects like dignity gowns or patient wellbeing spaces.
Please show your support by donating today.
Let’s be honest – I’m pedalling up Ditchling Beacon for this, so please help make the pain worth it and support local cancer patients along the way!
Thank you – Jarrod 🚴♂️
