Story

We are so excited to have a team of over 40 runners taking to the streets of London on Sunday 3 April for JDRF! Every single one of our runners is incredible and we can't wait to cheer for you on race day.

Don't forget to also join our JDRF running community on Strava and Facebook to share your training and fundraising updates.

Together we can smash our £15,000 fundraising target, and help our amazing researchers work towards finding a cure and better treatments for type 1 diabetes.

Here is a snapshot of some of the amazing things we have been able to achieve this year.

> We provided 23,500 people with resources and information about managing type 1 diabetes;

> We have developed specialist toolkits to help people with type 1 at university, school and in the workplace;

> JDRF paid over £2.5 million to UK research projects the most weve ever been able to support;

> We were able to raise over £135,000 through virtual challenge events during the pandemic;

> Our research persuaded the NHS to provide continuous glucose monitors for ALL pregnant women with type 1, improving lives for thousands of mothers and babies in England and Wales.

None of these would have been possible without the help of our fantastic fundraisers. With your support, we can't wait to see what JDRF can achieve!
