Story

💛 Give Jeremy’s Family the Gift of Time 💛

Two-year-old Jeremy Adeney is a sweet, bright little boy who loves Bluey, dinosaurs, cars, and trucks. The Lavington toddler is a cherished big brother to his 8-month-old baby brother Theodore and adored by his two older sisters, 6-year-old Veronica and 4-year-old Bethany.

Jeremy has Restrictive Cardiomyopathy, a rare and incurable heart condition. Recently, his medical team gave his devoted parents Natasha and Peter the utterly heartbreaking news that Jeremy is in end stage heart failure and has just a few months left to live.

Now on the highest possible dosages of medication, with no further treatment options available, Jeremy’s condition is progressing quickly. He is being admitted to Albury Hospital every 2–3 weeks. These admissions often happen without warning - with one parent rushing to hospital with him, while the other stays home to care for Jeremy’s three young siblings.

The emotional and financial strain on the entire family is both immense and overwhelming, and more than anything right now they need quality time together - free from the burden of work commitments, bills, and cost of living pressures.

While Country Hope is currently supporting the Adeney family, they need the whole community to rally around them to give them support and the complete financial freedom to allow Peter to stay at home with his wife and children, during these stressful and upsetting times.

We are asking our broader community to join us in supporting Peter and Natasha, to care for Jeremy and brother and sisters during this harrowing time.

💛 Why Your Support Matters

By donating, you are giving Jeremy’s mum and dad the chance to be truly present with their little boy 24/7, during his most fragile and precious time of life.

Your support is aimed at helping cover essential living costs, including:

• Mortgage repayments

• Groceries and household essentials

• Counselling sessions and bereavement support

• Domestic support to assist with household cleaning

• Utility bills

• Fuel for hospital trips and family travel

• Basic living expenses so both parents can remain available at a moment’s notice

Your generosity will give Natasha and Peter the financial freedom they need to focus fully on their young family - never being forced to leave Jeremy’s side just to make sure they can keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

💛 What Your Gift Makes Possible

✨ A family able to create meaningful, loving memories together

✨ Peace of mind when they need it most

Your donation isn’t just financial help - it’s the gift of time, presence, and love for a family facing the truly unimaginable.

💛 A Message from Country Hope

No parent can prepare for this journey; however, we believe no parent should ever walk it alone.

Country Hope stands alongside Natasha, Peter and Jeremy, as well as siblings Veronica, Bethany and Theodore with compassion, respect, and practical support. If you are able, please donate and share this page widely.

Together, we can give The Adeney’s the most precious gift of all: time together with little Jeremy.
