On behalf of vulnerable Essex based families and their children, thank you for participating in Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Home-Start Essex.

Your donation will support local families facing overwhelming challenges, including physical and learning disabilities, domestic abuse, poverty, mental health struggles, and social isolation.

Home-Start Essex are a charity focused on supporting families in Essex with children under 5 years of age, offering assistance through home visits, providing essential supplies, counselling services, SEND sessions and group support.

Since the pandemic, the demand for the charity services has skyrocketed by 134%. Today more than 38,600 children live in the top 20 most deprived neighbourhoods across Essex.

14.1% of Essex children and young people are living in extreme poverty.

In 2024-2025 we supported 2116 children and 1025 families within Essex.
