Donate to help disadvantaged children and young people to realise their true potential

Organised by JL12

JL12s goal is to add value to projects, by creating small funding opportunities for organisations that are engaging with disadvantaged children and young people, providing them with positive pathways to succeed.

JL12 was established to support projects who work with children & young people facing disadvantage across the UK. Specifically for projects advancing life opportunities for children & young people enabling them to reach their full potential through education, sport, cultural & developmental pathways

Story

JL12 is a small grants charity supporting organisations that deliver impactful projects benefitting young people aged 5-18yrs who face disadvantage.

JL12 fully recognises the wealth of great work already taking place in communities. So, rather than create another delivery project, it felt it more beneficial to provide small grants to support those organisations already engaging with young people, who are creating positive pathways for them to succeed and achieve their potential.

Northern Ireland International Footballer Jamal Lewis is the inspiration behind JL12. Throughout his life he has had the support of a large group of people from family, to friends, to school, to coaches and he has worked hard to grasp opportunities as they have arisen. Their support has enabled him to excel in a sport he loves football; playing international and premier division at the young age of just 19.

He knows, however, that others are not so fortunate. His aim is to support pathways to encourage young people facing disadvantages to achieve their full potential.
