Story

To celebrate One Broadgate, the brand new home of JLL, on Tuesday 22 September, a team of JLL colleagues will take on the ultimate challenge – abseiling down the 14 storey building, raising money for Age UK.

Why We’re Supporting Age UK

We’re abseiling for Age UK, a charity that delivers vital support to older people across the country. Your donation will help fund services that make a real and lasting difference, including:

The Age UK Advice Line – expert guidance on health, housing, benefits, care and more. A lifeline for thousands of older people who need support. Just £10 could help fund a call to the Age UK Advice Line – a single call that can change someone’s day or even their life.

The Telephone Friendship Service – older people receive a friendly call every week from a matched volunteer for regular chats to help reduce loneliness and isolation. £25 could an help connect 3 older people with a long-term telephone friend.

Local Age UKs – offering community support like day centres, home visits, practical help, and social groups that keep people connected.

Our Fundraising Goal:

We’re aiming to raise £30,000 for Age UK through our abseiling event. If you’re able to support our challenge, you can donate on this page or through any of the individual participant pages below.

Your support will make a meaningful difference to older people across the UK, and help motivate our team whilst taking on this challenge.

Thank you!
