John Tallamy is running the Cambridge Half Marathon on March 8th 2026 to raise money for Lyn's House. Here's why..

Lyn's House is an ecumenical community of life-enhancing friendship among people with and without learning disabilities in Cambridge.

Its aims are simple: to bring those who are usually marginalised to the centre, and to enable people who don't normally meet to encounter each other in a spirit of mutual welcome, openness and friendship.

Lyn's House is entirely dependent on donations (rent of the community room; food for shared meals; and a taxi account to enable members of the community with learning disabilities to come independently of their parents or carers).

£5.00 will cover the cost of a simple meal for one person.

£10.00 will pay the cost of a single taxi journey.
