Please help me take much needed generators to Ukraine

A few weeks ago I attended a talk from a fellow Rotarian who joined a convoy taking vehicles, generators and medical equipment to Ukraine. At the end of his presentation, he mentioned that they always needed drivers.

Unable to keep my hand down, I am joining a convoy on 10 April and am looking for donations to buy generators. This is my just giving page please share with friends and relatives.

The convoy will consist of six used 4x4 vehicles that go to the front line. Sadly the average life when they get there is only 3 months. The vehicles are loaded with medical equipment, and the generators which will be purchased in Poland (cheaper) before entering Ukraine. The sponsorship I collect to buy the generators will be through my Rotary Club Charity.

You will have heard on the news how power supplies continue to be hit by Russia. The convoy will be purchasing as many generators as possible this trip. A previous trip managed to raise enough for 51.

They are also in need of wheelchairs so if you know of any that are not being used, let me know. I am happy to collect.
