Josephine’s Star is a children's bereavement charity. We support children from across Somerset who have experienced the loss of someone special to them. The charity works with children aged 5-18 We offer three child focused services.

Our Service needs your support.

Our primary service is 1-1 grief support. This consists of a minimum of 6, 1 hour face to face sessions. All the sessions use a mixture of talking and creative activities to enable children to express their grief in a safe and supported space. In addition we provide a “Little Bag Of Help” grief support tool to all children refereed to us. The Little Bags of Help contain activities and resources to support the child in the initial extrapolation of their grief.
