Joe Strummer Fund Runners are doing a run for Joe’s birthday on the weekend of the 20th August to raise a few £ for WAYout. WAYout Arts is a charity offering free training and facilities in music and the arts to street and disadvantaged youth in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The JSF have supported WAYout since 2012 when they built the first music studio and went on to build a studio in the prison, a mobile studio and a small studio to learn in. In December 2022, Jamie and Brian came out to run a marathon and inspired WAYout members to join in. Two members, Mahdi and Kelo now run for the national Sierra Leonean team. The JSF have brought music and running to Sierra Leone street youth and it has changed lives. Please support the runners. "Without people you are nothing"
