What Is Jumbo GB

It's a voluntary organisation who's aim is to provide an annual outing, to a suitable venue for children with disabilities & special needs, we call it

"The Jumbo Run"

What makes it different?

The children are taken to the venue in motorcycle combinations, 3-wheeled cars & trikes, escorted by riders on solo motorcycles. The children are looked after by the same rider or couple and their carers for the day. Solo riders can also take care of a child at the venue if they want to.

When did Jumbo start?

The first Jumbo Run was in 1961 and started from Coventry. The venue was Dudley Zoo.

Who organises Jumbo?

A voluntary group of motorcyclists, 3-wheeler & trike riders from around the UK.

How can you help

Jumbo GB is a charitable organisation and it takes several thousand pounds to run each year. All of this is through donations of individuals and organisations. Any help is appreciated.

Note All funds Raised Go towards the running of the event, the committee are all volunteers who give their time freely.
