Jupiter Hotels is proud to support Rays of Sunshine - a children's charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill young people and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support in hospital and within the community.

Our aim is to raise £50,000 this year to fund magical wishes for brave and deserving children and to do that WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Every day of the year, they give brave young people the chance to put their illness on hold and experience moments of pure joy. Since 2003, their work has touched the lives of more than 60,000 children. The charity's services create a positive distraction, reduce isolation, improve self-esteem and create precious memories and smiles for the whole family. They do this by:

Granting magical wishes: as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be princess or fireman for the day, go to Disneyland, meet a favourite celebrity or even a real life mermaid, Rays of Sunshine works hard to make that dream come true.

Year-round events and outings: children become part of the Rays of Sunshine family and are invited to fun days out, creative workshops and unforgettable experiences.

Family Support: recognising the strain placed on siblings and parents of seriously ill children, the charity provides opportunities for them to share experiences and form valuable support networks in a relaxed environment.

Hospital Support: bringing sunshine to the wards through activity days with entertainers and arts & crafts, ward makeovers such as new play areas and sensory rooms, and a play specialist who uses play as a therapeutic tool to help children and their siblings understand their illness and treatment, both in hospital and at home visits .
