Hello, my name is Kalpana, I will be turning 50 on the 30th of March (Yikes!!). My birthday is a celebration of the woman that gave birth to me. My wonderful mum who we sadly lost to cancer in 2021.

In her honour instead of receiving gifts, I've decided to do something a bit different. I want to take this opportunity to give back and make a positive impact to those lives that are in real need. I know this is what my mum would have liked too.

So, I'm asking you all to join me in supporting ‘Help Change Lives’. This is a UK based charity whose purpose is to prevent or relieve poverty especially in children, with love and compassion. With the funds received they support projects in Kenya, India, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Malawi. 100% of all funds go to the projects and the trustees cover all fundraising and admin costs.

Pallvee Shah the CEO of the charity is a friend. She is from Kenya and I know how tirelessly she works to ensure all funds are used to make the maximum impact.
