Story
We are raising funds to build a boundary wall and secure gates for Kankalay Islamic Primary School in Sierra Leone, a school we’ve been supporting for over 15 years. Recently, break-ins by thieves have put the safety of the school at risk, making it urgent to secure the grounds.
The total cost of this project is £10,000. Thanks to a busy summer of festivals and events, we’ve already raised 75% of the funds. Now, we’re asking for your support to help us reach the final amount needed to complete the wall and gates.
This project is vital—not only will it protect the school at night, but it will also ensure that the children of Lumpa and Freetown have a safe, secure space to learn and grow. Without it, we cannot continue with our other programmes. Please join us in this final push to make the school safe and protect its future.
