I am really excited to be able to run for our Maternity Unit - I have been a member of the Gateshead Health Maternity service since 2020 and I love it!

We use our charitable funds to do the little extras to make our service extra special for our families such as recent murals to brighten up the corridor leading to our maternity operating theatre & murals to welcome our families and new babies which provide a nicer environment for everyone.

We sometimes also use these funds for special additional training for our staff, gifts for our babies & mothers at special occasions throughout the year and well-being packs for families who need them.

We are so grateful for all of the support that our teams receive from our families & we are proud of the care that we provide.
