Cycling for a Cause: Brothers Ride from High Wycombe to Paris
A group of brothers are embarking on a journey - cycling all the way to Paris - not just for the thrill, but for a greater purpose. This isn’t just a physical challenge; it’s a spiritual one too. Their goal? To raise funds for Ribat al Muhammadiyah, a centre for knowledge, dhikr, and nurturing the next generation of believers.
This form of Sadaqah Jariyyah (ongoing charity) is one that continues to benefit long after the pedals stop spinning. Every donation helps build a legacy of knowledge for future generations, and every mile cycled with the intention of pleasing Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them.” [Muslim]
Supporting this cause means being part of something eternal. These brothers are pushing themselves to the limit for the sake of Allah — let’s not let their effort go unnoticed.
Help them turn this ride into reward, and every drop of sweat into sadaqah. Donate, share, and make du’a.
Let’s ride together, even if we’re not on the bike.
What do Karima Foundation do?
For over two decades, The Karima al Marwaziyya Foundation has been at the forefront of nurturing faith, knowledge, and service in the High Wycombe community and beyond. From education to sports, from prayer spaces to community support, our work has always been about uplifting lives, fostering growth, and strengthening the bonds of faith. The demand for what we offer has outstripped our capacity. Our current facilities are no longer enough—we need a space that matches the scale of our vision and the needs of our people.
Our vision is expanding, and so is our responsibility. To truly serve the next generation, we need a permanent home—a place where young minds can be nurtured, where families can grow together in faith, and where a new generation of Muslim leaders can emerge.
At the heart of our new home will be The Ribaat al Muhammadiyah – The Masjid. The Mind, the Body, the Soul.
This will be more than just a building; it will be a sanctuary of learning, character-building, and community service. A place where knowledge and spirituality come together, equipping our future leaders with wisdom, sincerity, and excellence.
